I just love the Red Stone Security Series by Katie Reus. The premise of a Security Agency made up of ex-military or law enforcement officials now forming a private security firm is fascinating to me. They are often security detail for high profile people and cases which increases the action and suspense most of the time. Sinful Seduction is the eighth and latest book in the series. While it is great to read about characters from past books, you can read them individually and enjoy them just as much!
Alex Blue (aka Blue) is enjoying time out one night when he witnesses an attempted kidnapping. He springs into action and saves Mina while chasing away the kidnappers off. From that moment on, the two are virtually inseparable. Blue feels the need to protect her since she has not hired any security detail (even though she is an heiress and felt as though she was living a low key life). Mina is just fine with Blue hanging around until they sort out the details.
I enjoy the balance that Katie finds between the romance and suspense in this series and Sinful Seduction. The characters do not just jump in bed together to add sex to the story. While it is still easier or quicker for them, than I would like, it fits with the flow and pacing of the story as well as the characters emotions towards one another.
In addition to the passionate romance that Alex and Mina share, the plot has some twists and turns which keeps you reading up until the very end. The ending to the story was fantastic, as it tied up a couple of thoughts I had while reading the book. If you haven’t read the Red Stone Security Series and enjoy romantic suspense, I recommend you give Sinful Seduction a try!

About the Book:
He’ll do anything to protect her…but she doesn’t want saving.
As an heiress from a prominent family, Mina knows the pain of living under a microscope. Which is why she loves her sleepy Key West home where nobody knows her name. She’s determined to make her way without being coddled—and no mugging is going to change that.
Former Marine and newest Red Stone Security employee Alexander Blue has seen enough bloodshed to last a lifetime—or ten. He’s ready for civilian life, but when he sees a mysterious brunette attacked by a mugger, his need to protect kicks into overdrive. Mina, the sensual artist he saved, brings him home and bandages him up, but her gaze cuts clear to his soul. An intense connection isn’t all Blue feels—there was something strange about that mugging; he’s convinced Mina is in danger and needs his protection. Just one problem: Mina doesn’t want saving.
