In Out of Hiding by Rachel Dylan, Sadie Lane has spent 20 years hiding her true identity in the Witness Protection Program since she saw her parents murdered at the tender age of 8. However, she has never given up the opportunity for revenge. Now she has encountered the man who killed her parents and she is given the opportunity in her job as a private detective to execute that revenge. Enter Kip Moore, an FBI agent, who also hopes to bring this same man to justice but for different reasons.
The story takes you on a roller coaster ride of near death situations and ultimately a kidnapping that has you on the edge of your seat. I enjoyed the evolution of emotions between Sadie and Kip and often sympathized with their struggle not to fall in love because of their past experiences.
I appreciated the faith they both eventually called on to help them endure their trials and tribulations and to confirm their true feelings. If you like mystery, romance and a solid foundation of faith to build it all on then you will enjoy this book. Give it a try and see if Christian romantic suspense is for you.
