Review: INSIDER by Olivia Cunning

n Insider by Olivia Cunning, having spent years raising her special needs sister, Toni Nichols has decided to spread her wings and explore the world. Her family ‘s publishing firm just bought the rights to publish an interactive biography on Exodus End, one of the biggest metal bands out there. Toni convinces her mom that she, not her editor is perfect for the job. Now she’s on tour with the band and she is so out of her element it’s not even funny. Especially when it comes to bassist Logan Schmidt.  Is Logan ready to settle down with just one woman?  Can Toni gain the trust of the band?

insider-236x360I have been waiting for this book for forever!  Cunning mentions Exodus End so many times in the Sinners series that it was agony waiting on it. It was oh so worth the wait though. I absolutely loved Toni’s character. She is such a shy,  introverted person with a big heart. It was great seeing her stand up for herself.  The chemistry between her and Logan in insanely hot. Logan took a bit to grow on me. He’s kind of an arrogant jerk, especially after the first time he sleeps with Toni. As the book  progressed, it became clear why he acts the way he does.

I am super excited for the rest of the series to come out as well. Toni digs up a lot of dirt on the band during her interviews,  especially between Max and Dare. Plus with what happened in this book, Reagan ‘s book should be very interesting  (and we get to see more of the Sinners! ).

If you have never read an Olivia Cunning book, you actually need to start with the Sinners on Tour series as this book runs concurrently with the end of that series. Fortunately,  the next Exodus End book doesn’t come out until 2016 so you have plenty of time to catch up.
