Review: WILD ZONE by Skye Jordan

Hot hockey guys and delicious food. Who wouldn’t want to read about that? Wild Zone by Skye Jordan is a delectable sexy story filled with everything you expect in a Skye Jordan book. It has the engaging plot, flawed characters, fun dialogue, and insanely hot intimate scenes that have you hanging on each word written.

Wild Zone is the fourth book in the Rough Riders series, but each is written so you can read it as a stand alone. In this one we are treated to Tate and Olivia’s story. They are both struggling with trust issues. Tate is dealing with lingering self-esteem issues after catching his ex-wife cheating on him and Olivia is still nursing the hurt of something kept from her by those closest to her. When the two of them meet for the first time, you just know the chemistry is going to be off the charts.

Jordan writes this erotic tale in such an emotional way that your heart is pulled all over the place. The feelings of each character jump off the page and you feel along with them, whether it’s happy, sad, frustrated, or turned on. I so enjoyed Olivia’s fresh personality in Wild Zone. She was pretty straight forward and to the point. With some prodding, Tate went after what he wanted and they tried to make things work even through the huge obstacles thrown their way. They were both unique characters that you don’t read in traditional romance. They almost felt more real than most. I loved every minute of it!

Wild Zone is a quick, sexy, contemporary romance story that whisks you away from reality and lets you enjoy the life of Tate and Olivia for a bit. I highly recommend you give it a shot.
