Amy (with So Many Reads): Thank you for joining me today at So Many Reads, Michelle!
Michelle: Thanks so much for having me! I’m really excited to be here with you.
Amy: If you would, tell us about yourself and what types of books you write.
Michelle: I write contemporary, fantasy and paranormal romance and am published with Ellora’s Cave, Samhain Publishing as well as indie published. I have a contemporary romance series, the Coffee House Chronicles, and a paranormal romance series I’m indie publishing called the Guardians of Atlantis. My fantasy series, Realm of Honor, is with Ellora’s Cave Blush line (more sensual and sexy than erotic). I live in North Texas and belong to the Dallas Area Romance Authors RWA chapter and currently serve as PAN Liaison. In my spare time (do I have that?) I love reading, movies, hanging out with the husband and kid, watching baseball and hockey and cross-stitching.

Interview with Susan:
Amy (with So Many Reads): Hi Susan, and welcome to So Many Reads! As a new-to-me author (and potentially new to my readers), can you tell us a little about what type of books you write?
Susan: Hi! Thx for having me here. 🙂 I write sweet, contemporary romance.
Amy: I know authors don’t usually like to pick a favorite book of theirs, but in the Better Date than Never series, do you have a favorite story? Maybe one that you can relate to the most or a character that you have a soft spot for?
Susan: Every time I write a new book, I think there’s no way I’ll love the new story as much as I loved the last one. Each time I’ve been wrong. Each heroine is special….Ellen, Gina, Rachel, Kristen, and Melanie (so far). By the end of each heroine’s story, I’ve delved so deep into her world that I’m weepy at having to move onto the next. Since it’s a series, I’m lucky that I get to spend more time with them.
Update – Congratulations to Edie for winning a copy of BEYOND from Maureen!
If you like science fiction, you will love this series! Maureen A. Miller is known for her awesome romantic suspense books, but her last two science fiction/fantasy books have been pretty darn good. Today Maureen is joining us for an interview and a giveaway!
Amy (with So Many Reads): Thank you for joining me for an interview, Maureen!
Maureen: Thank you so much for having me here, Amy. I brought you a bag of cheese puffs, but half seem to be missing. (scratches head and leaves orange crumbs in her hair)
Amy: Normally you are known for your romantic suspense books. How did you come up with the idea for this series?
Today we are celebrating the upcoming release of Wendy Soliman’s newest release Beguiling the Barrister. Not only do I get to interview Wendy who is also a new-to-me author, but Wendy is giving away a copy of one of her books. Check out all the details below!

Interview with Wendy Soliman:
Amy (with So Many Reads): Hi Wendy and thanks for joining us today. I am new to your books and in doing some research it looks like you write both contemporary and historical. What do you like about each of those and is it hard to go back and forth between the two?
Wendy: Historicals have always been my first love. I cut my teeth on Jane Austen and Daphne duMaurier. I was raised on the Isle of Wight in southern England, surrounded by castles, stately homes…oh, and Queen Victoria’s island residence. I guess the historical vibes rubbed off on me a bit like osmosis. It’s certainly a challenge switching between historical and modern. My first attempt at a contemporary was stilted because I was so used to Regency-speak. I now enjoy keeping one foot in both worlds.
Update – Congratulations to Jaime B! Random.org drew your comment as the winner of AN AFFAIR IN APRIL! Thanks to all who participated!
I don’t know about you guys but I am loving Clarice Wynter’s Spring River Valley Series. She is releasing a novella each month and they are great! They are light, fun contemporary romances. All of the characters are connected somehow, so it is fun to read about characters you already know, but you won’t be lost reading one if you don’t start at the beginning either.
I am excited that I got the chance to interview Clarice and get the scoop behind the series. Clarice is also giving away a copy to one luck reader, so don’t leave without commenting below!
