In The Valentine’s Arrangement by Kelsie Leverich, Sergeant First Class Kale Emerson is back in the States for a few days of R & R after spending months in Iraq. While home, Kale decides to get a memorial tattoo to honor the men who have died in his platoon. Everyone tells him to go see Ronnie at No Regrets Tattoo. Kale is shocked when he discovers Ronnie is a no nonsense drop dead gorgeous woman. The chemistry between them is instantaneous but Ronnie doesn’t do relationships and she definitely doesn’t want to have anything to with a soldier after what her ex-boyfriend, who was also in the Army did to her. Kale convinces Ronnie to a no strings fling that will end when he goes back to Iraq. Can they stick to the agreement or will love come into play?
I decided to read this book as my first (and hopefully many) #forgottenbookchallenge. With all the free and cheap ebooks, a lot of us battle the one click addiction. The rules of the challenge are easy: read and review a book that is at least six months or older on your device and post the review on any review site with the hash tag #forgottenbookchallenge. There is even a Facebook Group you can join to post your reviews.
So with that being said, I downloaded this book on January 8, 2013.
Okay, now to the review…
